Bloomington is a city at the southwest end of San Bernardino County in the US state of California . The population is around 23,800 (as of 2010). The urban area covers an area of ​​15.5 square kilometers. Bloomington is 335 meters above sea level and is surrounded by the Mojave Desert . The climate is accordingly characterized by long warm phases and mild winters. In summer, however, temperatures of over 40 degrees Celsius are not uncommon.

Demographics

According to the 2010 census , the population increased from 19,316 to 23,851 within ten years from 2000 to 2010.
