The Gmina Borzytuchom ( IPA: bɔʐɨ'tuxɔm ) is one of the smallest rural communities in the powiat Bytowski of the Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland . The seat of the municipality is the village of the same name ( German Borntuchen ) with 820 inhabitants (2004).

history

The first written mention of Borzytuchom comes from 1350 . From 1975 to 1998 the rural community belonged to the Slupsk Voivodeship . Between 1884 and 1993 Borzytuchom was a train station on the now disused railway line Lipusz – Korzybie ( Lippusch – Zollbrück ).
