Brüchlins is about one kilometer west of Ottobeuren. The village is connected to the main town by a country road and is embedded in the valley of the Schinderbächlein to the Westlichen Günz and the Hungerbach to its left tributary Krebsbach .

history

The village was first mentioned in 1533 and was previously called Undermotzen . The place had 40 inhabitants in 1564. The population rose to 73 by 1811 and to 100 by 1970.
