Hessen is a district of the Upper Swabian market Ottobeuren .

geography

The desert of Hesse is about three kilometers south of Ottobeuren. The town is connected to the main town via the MN 18 county road . The Schweinwaldbach , the Westliche Günz and the Moosmühlbach converge on the Hesse corridors .

history

Hesse was first mentioned during the term of office of Abbot Rupert . The monastery received the property from layman Walther as a gift. In 1564 the homestead had 12 inhabitants and in 1811 15.
