history

In 1365 the wasteland came under the name of ze dem Hetzels to the Memmingen hospital . The Ottobeuren monastery acquired the village and sold it to Philipp von Pappenheim in 1594 . He sold the wasteland back to the Memmingen Unterhospital in the 17th century. The site was formerly usury named after the Beständner Endres Woucherer which is 1466 called there. Schiessenhof belonged to the high court district of the lordship Theinselberg . On May 1st, 1978 Schiessenhof was reclassified from the municipality of Lachen to the Ottobeuren market .
