Halbersberg is a district of the Upper Swabian market Ottobeuren .

geography

The desert Halbersberg is about one kilometer west of Ottobeuren. The place is connected to the main town by a country road.

history

Halbersberg was first mentioned in 1182. Konrad von Hailbersperc and his brother gave the so-called Altinger donation to the Ottobeuren monastery . During Abbot Bernold's tenure , the monastery was given a hat in Halbersberg. In 1512 the place went completely to the monastery. The place had 34 inhabitants in 1564, in 1970 it had grown to 51 inhabitants.
