action

Robert "Bob" Gordon wants a new Broadway - show them on the stage, but suffers from shortage of money. Then he receives an offer of money from the young widow Lillian Brent on the condition that she can dance in his new show. The journalist Bert Keeler gets this information and writes about it in his column in a slightly insulting way. Gordon's old classmate Irene Foster, a tap dancer from Albany also strives for the lead role in the show, but Lillian insists to assume this role themselves. For this reason, Irene Forster, Bert Keeler and Gordon's secretary Kitty Corbett start a little game so that Irene can get the lead role.
