From the 17th to the 19th century, the landlords in Blumenthal and Schönebeck were entitled to use the forests .

Around 1800 two Schönebecker Meier (administrators) were mentioned who were responsible for Brundorf and Hahle. In 1861, “Brundorf and Hahle”, which were not independent administrative units, was written into the register of parishes after Lesum . Around 1800 there were 14 houses in Brundorf. End of v19. In the 19th century, the Bremen merchant Baron Ludwig Knoop ordered the reforestation of his lands in the Brundorf district. With the concrete road 1952/1953 (L 149) the place got the connection to the road network. The chapel in the cemetery was consecrated in 1957; The bell tower was erected 20 years later.
