Live and act
Bandulet studied history , Spanish studies , political science and economics in Würzburg , Berlin and Madrid . In 1970 he was with Friedrich August von der Heydte at the Philosophical Faculty of the Julius Maximilians University in Würzburg with the dissertation The Federal Republic of Germany between the USA, the Soviet Union and France. Alternatives in German foreign policy from 1952 to 1963 to Dr. phil. PhD .
In 1969 he became a consultant for Eastern and expellees policy of the CSU state management and wrote for the Bavarian courier . He was managing editor of the daily newspaper Die Welt and since 1975 a member of the Editorial Board of the magazine Quick .
From 1979 to 2013 he was the editor of Gold & Money Intelligence (G&M), a German-language stock market letter . Bandulet is the owner of Bandulet Verlag GmbH in Bad Kissingen . He organizes finance seminars and gives lectures at home and abroad.
Politically, he was involved in the Bund Freier Bürger (dissolved in 2000), a small German party that was founded against the Maastricht Treaty and the impending introduction of the euro and is considered the forerunner of the AfD . Bandulet has published the political DeutschlandBrief since 1995 , the follow-up publication to the magazine DM - Demokratie und Marktwirtschaft , which functioned as the BFB's party organ until the end of 1994 and has been integrated into the magazine eiffrei since 2009 . He is considered a dedicated euro critic and supports the AfD. In 2017 he was the founding chairman of the AfD-affiliated Immanuel Kant eV foundation (not to be confused with the Kant Foundation ).
Bandulet is a columnist for the weekly newspaper Junge Freiheit and the magazine peculiarly free . For the national conservative journal Schweizerzeit he wrote articles, gave interviews and gave lectures in this context. The first two newspapers are included in the New Right , and the Swiss era has links to it.
As a book author, he switched from Langen Müller Verlag to Kopp Verlag in 2007 . In the book Beuteland published there in 2016, he claims that “ruinous mass immigration under the flag of multiculturalism” is the product of an “open conspiracy of the elites”. Bandulet sees “masterminds” in the United Nations and the EU who would “undermine the nation state”.
In 2014 he was in Munich, Roland Baader award , sponsored by the Institute for Austrian Asset Management awarded. On November 25, 2017, he received the Gerhard Löwenthal Prize in Berlin for his life's work. The prize is awarded by the Foundation for Conservative Education and Research in cooperation with Junge Freiheit .
