The castle Krinnerfels is an Outbound Höhlenburg on a cliff overlooking the Danube about 1,340 meters southeast of Fridingen on the Danube in the district of Tuttlingen in Baden-Württemberg .
Burkhard von Balgheim and his wife Berta von Nusplingen are named as the owners of the castle, which was probably built in the 12th to 13th centuries. In 1446 the castle ("our burgstal under fridingen called krinnerfels") was sold to the Beuron monastery .
The former castle complex, protected by a ditch , shows only small remains of walls and rubble bars from a stone building on the upper edge of the rock.
