The castle Darrendobel is the ruin of a Spur castle about 5000 meters northwest of the hamlet rooms of the community Immendingen in the district of Tuttlingen in Baden-Württemberg . The hilltop castle is on a southern spur above the Ippinger Mühle at around 875 meters above sea level .
history
The castle was probably built in the 8th to 11th centuries and was an early medieval to high medieval rampart on an arched, flat earth wall with two existing ditches . Remains of ramparts and moats are still preserved from the former castle complex. The best way to get to the facility is via the valley courtyards near rooms.
