The Kraftstein castle ruins are the ruins of a hilltop castle at 835 m above sea level. NN near the hamlet of Kraftstein in the town of Mühlheim an der Donau in the Tuttlingen district in Baden-Württemberg .
history
The castle was built in the 12th century and mentioned in the 14th century. The lords of Reichenau and the lords of Wartenberg are named as owners of the castle.
Remnants of the residential tower are still preserved from the castle complex. The keep had a base area of 10 by 15 meters and a wall thickness of 1.8 to 2.4 meters.
