Remnants of the wall of the tower castle , which was built in the 11th to 13th centuries and surrounded by a double moat , were uncovered in the 20th century.

The castle area is about 20 by 14 meters. The square tower measures seven by seven meters with a wall thickness of 1.2 meters and is still 1.8 meters high.

The tower falls under the so-called “Luginsland Towers” and was mainly used to monitor the area. Presumably the tower of the time had a wooden structure and a height of 30 meters.
