The Castle West Wich is an Outbound castle one kilometer southwest of the city Lich in the district of Giessen ( Hesse ).

The castle was located in the area of ​​the "Westwich" desert, mentioned between 1161 and 1436, above the Wetter at the foot of the "Hardtberg", south of today's sewage treatment plant and east of the Kolnhausen estate in an area changed by quarrying work and can no longer be precisely localized.

The castle of the Lords of Westwich was first mentioned in 1306 and already abandoned in the 14th century.
