The Canadian Championship 2012 (officially: Amway Canadian Championship ) is a soccer tournament, which was organized by the Canadian Soccer Association and was used to determine the Canadian participants in the CONCACAF Champions League 2012/13 .

The field of participants consisted of the Canadian clubs Toronto FC , Vancouver Whitecaps and Montreal Impact from Major League Soccer and FC Edmonton , which plays in the North American Soccer League .

As in the previous year, the tournament was played in knockout mode with semi-finals and finals. The seed numbers were assigned after the previous year's placement in the MLS (1 and 2) or the NASL (3 and 4). The matches were played back and forth, with the better seeded team having home rights in the second leg or, in the final, being able to choose in which of the two games it would like to exercise home rights.

The first legs of the semi-finals took place on May 2, the second legs on May 9. The finals took place on May 16 and May 23. After a 1-1 draw in the first leg, Toronto FC won the final second leg 1-0 and thus the trophy, known as the Voyageurs Cup , for the fourth time.
