Carolin Sophie Göbel (born February 12, 1989 in Koblenz ) is a German actress and voice actress.

Life

Carolin Sophie Göbel grew up in the Westerwald and from the age of 17 attended the Academy for Performing Arts in Montabaur in Rhineland-Palatinate , from which she graduated three years later with an acting diploma. Her first theater engagements took her to Stuttgart, Koblenz, Leipzig, Gotha and Frankfurt. She played at the Grenzlandtheater Aachen , the Heppenheim Festival and the Brothers Grimm Festival in Hanau .

In addition to acting, she works as a speaker and acted as a voice actress in over 230 films from 2011 to 2018. She lent her voice to actresses Olivia Wilde , Mischa Barton , Mia Wasikowska , Amber Tamblyn , Erika Christensen and Evan Rachel Wood, among others .

She also dubbed Janet Fielding as Tegan on Doctor Who throughout .

She also speaks regularly for the Augsburger Puppenkiste , 3sat and ZDF , as well as various audio books. In 2016 she was awarded the Audible Audiobook Speakers Prize.

Carolin Sophie Göbel currently lives in Munich.
