This discography provides an overview of the Carpenters' musical works since 1969 and their chart success in the USA , Great Britain and German-speaking countries. According to the sources, the American siblings have sold over 100 million records worldwide, including three number one hits and ten million-seller in their home country. In Europe, they were most successful in the UK, where they had three number one albums and seven top ten hits. In Germany and Austria the Carpenters were not so successful with their singles, but at least they were able to conquer number 1 and number 2 with a greatest hits album in 1980.
