Cesanese di Olevano Romano DOC or simply Olevano Romano DOC is an Italian red wine from the metropolitan city of Rome in the Lazio region , which has had a "controlled designation of origin " ( Denominazione di origine controllata - DOC) since 1973 , which was last updated on March 7, 2014 .
Cultivation
It is grown and vinified in the municipality of Olevano Romano and in parts of the municipality of Genazzano , which are in the Monti Prenestini.

The following types of wine are produced: The wines are developed either dry or sweet or sweet . The sweet variant is also available as sparkling wine (Frizzante). All wines must contain the following grape varieties :
- 85-100% Cesanese di Affile and / or Cesanese Comune
- 0–15% other red grape varieties approved for cultivation in the Lazio region.
