Chris Pitman

Chris Pitman (born November 16, 1961 in Kansas City ) is an American keyboardist and former member of the rock band Guns N 'Roses .

Life

Pitman was born in Kansas City and attended school there. In the mid-1990s he was a tour musician with the band Tool and was involved in the recording of a song from their album Ænima . In 1995 he was part of the Replicants project , which also included Paul d'Amour and two musicians from the band Failure . Two years later he was again involved with d'Amour in the Lusk project, with which he released the album Free Mars . In 1998 he joined Guns N 'Roses. The first gig came in 2001 because Axl Rose first had to rebuild the rest of the band. In November 2008, Pitman's band SexTapes released an album of the same name. In the same month Guns N 'Roses also released the long-awaited album Chinese Democracy , for which Pitman wrote the songs Madagascar and If The World with Axl Rose . Since the reunion with former band members Slash and Duff McKagan in April 2016, Pitman is no longer part of the Guns N 'Roses line-up .
