It's So Easy is a hard rock song by the US band Guns n 'Roses . He appeared on the debut album Appetite for Destruction and was also released as the first single from it in June 1987.

Emergence

According to an interview with Hit Parader magazine in March 1988, It's So Easy is a piece that deals with the fact that things are “too easy” in life and that there is a void at the same time. It refers to “an account of a time Duff McKagan and West Arkeen, and also the rest of the band, were kinda going through. They didn't have money, but they had a lot of hangers on and girls [they] could basically live off of ... things were just too easy. There's an emptiness; it's so easy. "

In 2006, Axl Rose said in an interview that Duff McKagan and West Arkeen wrote the song as an acoustic "hippie-ya-ya" piece and it was Slash's idea to turn it into a rock song.

Music video

There was an official music video for the song, the first the band produced and shown live.

performance

The piece is a live classic. It is often even played as an opener at concerts, for example during the Use Your Illusion Tour .
