Christa Rockstroh

Christa Rockstroh (born July 4, 1953 in Schwerin ) is a German actress .

Life

Christa Rockstroh grew up in Güstrow . After graduating from high school, she went to Berlin in 1972 and initially worked as an MTA at the Berlin Charité . After the end of the Vietnam War , she took part in the reconstruction of the destroyed country and set up a laboratory facility near Hanoi. For this she received the highest Vietnamese medal awarded to foreigners. Then she studied advertising economics in Berlin.

1980 was Christa then the workers' and student theater of the Humboldt University for the first time in a leading role on the stage. She finally received her acting training at Theater Anklam under Herbert König and Frank Castorf , for whom she also worked as an assistant director for four years.

After leaving the GDR in 1987, she appeared in various German theaters and played more than 100 television and cinema roles. She also works as an acting coach , including for the series “ Unter Uns ”, and teaches as a lecturer in the directing course at the Macromedia University of Media and Communication .

Christa Rockstroh lives in Cologne .
