Christian Wewerka

Christian Wewerka (born June 30, 1961 in Berlin ) is a German actor and speaker . He played in the films Reise ohne Wiederkehr , A Little April , Sadisticum , Able and the series Verschollen and is known to gamers as the spokesman for the "Nameless Hero" of the PC role-playing game series Gothic .

Life

Christian Wewerka began his acting career in the early 1980s at Berlin's OFF-Theaters and during this time he received further training as an actor from renowned national and international teachers (including Geraldine Baron , Keith Johnstone ).

In 1989 Wewerka stood in front of the camera for the first time for the feature film The Journey Without Return by Alexandra von Grote . From 1990 to 2003 he was under contract at various German theaters (Theater der Stadt Aalen, Stadttheater Würzburg, Theater am Kurfürstendamm Berlin, Gandersheimer Domfestspiele, etc.) and played in more than 70 theater productions (including Hamlet , A Midsummer Night's Dream , Im Thicket of Cities , Minna von Barnhelm , Krach in Ciozza etc.) directed by directors like Walter Schmidinger , Wolfgang Hofmann, Oliver Vorwerk, Johannes Klaus, Dietrich Hollinderbäumer etc. In 2001 he shot the film A little bit of April , directed by Asli Özge which premiered at the 2003 Istanbul Film Festival.

He played from 2003 to 2004 a major role in the RTL - television series Lost (29 episodes, aired 2004/2005). Since then, numerous film and television productions have followed. Christian Wewerka also appeared as a spokesman for radio (BR2), synchronous (Mike Hammer, Vale Tudo, etc.), advertising (Focus radio advertising) and video games, among other things as the voice of the "nameless hero" in the first three parts of the PC role-playing game series Gothic in appearance.
