The Communauté de communes Creuse Confluence is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the department of Creuse in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . It was founded on November 2, 2016 and comprises 42 parishes. The administrative headquarters are located in Boussac .
Historical development
The community association was created with effect from January 1, 2017 through the merger of the predecessor organizations
- Communauté de communes du Pays de Boussac ,
- Communauté de communes du Carrefour des Quatre Provinces and
- Communauté de communes d'Évaux-les-Bains Chambon-sur-Voueize .
The association, which was originally founded under the cumbersome name Communauté de communes Pays de Boussac, Carrefour des Quatre Provinces, Évaux-les-Bains / Chambon-sur-Voueize , was renamed to its current name with effect from January 1, 2018. At the same time, the municipality of Saint-Priest left the local association and joined the Communauté de communes Chénérailles, Auzances / Bellegarde et Haut Pays Marchois .
