The Communauté de communes Saône, Seille, SANE is a former French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the department of Saone-et-Loire in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté . It was founded on January 1, 2014 and comprises 19 parishes. The administrative headquarters are in the village of Cuisery .

Historical development

The previous organization was founded on December 31, 1993, called Communauté de communes Saône et Seille and comprised the ten municipalities of the old canton of Cuisery . In 1997, the two municipalities from the canton of Tournus joined. On January 1, 2014, the association of municipalities merged with the Communauté de communes du Canton de Montpont-en-Bresse and two municipalities from the old canton of Montret also joined. This was followed by a re-establishment under the last valid name.

On January 1, 2017, the community association was merged with the Communauté de communes des Portes de la Bresse to form the new Communauté de communes Terres de Bresse .

tasks and goals

  • Thanks to many natural beauties and a rich historical heritage, which are particularly appreciated by water sports and nature lovers, but also by fishermen, the CC Saône, Seille, Sâne focuses on the promotion of tourism .
    • By becoming a member of the Syndicat Mixte de la Bresse Bourguignonne , the affiliated municipalities benefit from regional efforts in terms of tourism, information and the coordination of the partners' events.
  • The CC Saône, Seille, Sâne operates a center for children and adolescents in Cuisery , a day nursery for children aged 3–48 months, a children's playground for children aged 3–11, and a children's and youth center for 11 to 14 year olds for 14 to 17 year olds. There is also a branch in Sainte-Croix .
  • The CC Saône, Seille, Sâne invests a large part of its budget in the maintenance and improvement of the regional transport network .

    • Supervision of the creation of neighborhood streets and their integration into the network of local streets

    • Support from national associations such as the Bresse Initiative
    • Construction of the industrial center Les Fontaines (4600 m²) in Simandre , intended for leasing to the company WAGNER & Co., financed by the CC Saône, Seille, Sâne and subsidized by various government agencies.
      • Promotion of ecological construction methods such as Les Fontaines with an area of ​​3800 m² photovoltaic, pellet heating and solar air conditioning.
      • Operation, administration and possibly sale of the Les Fontaines industrial center
    • Expansion of the Bois Bernoux industrial zone in Cuisery
      • Preparation of the infrastructure on the 26,800 m² site and sale to the SCI du Bois Bernoux
