Conduelo Píriz (born October 9, 1904 or June 17, 1905 , † December 25, 1976 ) was a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The Durazno native Conduelo Píriz was the younger brother of the Olympic champion Juan Píriz . He played at club level for Nacional Montevideo and Club Atlético Defensor . For the latter club, however, he only played 28 games.

The midfielder Píriz was a member of the Uruguayan national soccer team , with which he was able to secure the world championship title at the soccer world championship in 1930 when this event was held for the first time. In the course of the tournament, however, he was not used.

A total of Píriz completed seven international matches for his home country in the period from June 16, 1929 to May 18, 1932, in which he could not score. During this time, he was also able to book third place with the Uruguayan selection when participating in the Campeonato Sudamericano 1929 in his success statistics and was also used in that year at the Copa Lipton .
