Connor McLennan (born October 5, 1999 in Peterhead ) is a Scottish football player who is under contract with Aberdeen FC .

Career

Connor McLennan was born in 1999 in Peterhead, about 30 km north of Aberdeen . He began his career in the youth of Aberdeen FC . For the professional Dons team, McLennan made his debut in April 2016 at the age of 16 against FC St. Johnstone when he came on for Niall McGinn in the 83rd minute .

In December 2016, 17-year-old McLennan was awarded to Scottish third division club Brechin City . In his first game for Brechin, McLennan scored a goal in a 2-0 win over FC Stranraer . After a two-year loan, he returned to Aberdeen in 2018.

National team

Connor McLennan played twice in the Scottish U-16s in 2014 . Opponents were Northern Ireland and Wales . In February 2016, McLennan made his debut in Scotland's U-17 against Iceland .
