Dean Campbell (born March 19, 2001 in Bridge of Don , Aberdeen ) is a Scottish football player who is under contract with FC Aberdeen . He sets the record as the youngest ever played player at Aberdeen FC at 16 years, one month and 23 days.

Dean Campbell was born in 2001 in Bridge of Don, a suburb of Aberdeen. As a 9-year-old he came to Aberdeen FC . He made his debut for the club's professional team on May 12, 2017 at the age of 16 years, one month and 23 days. This made him the youngest player ever to play at FC Aberdeen and replaced Jack Grimmer as the record holder who was 16 years, 2 months and 13 days old when he made his debut. On his debut against Celtic Glasgow at Pittodrie Stadium , Campbell was substituted on for Niall McGinn .

National team

Dean Campbell played eight times for the Scottish U-17 national team between 2016 and 2018 and scored three goals. He scored two of the three goals in his penultimate game in this age group against Spain in February 2018. In October 2018 he made his U-18 debut against Uzbekistan .
