Tomáš Černý (born April 10, 1985 in Ústí nad Labem ) is a Czech football player on the goalkeeping position .

Club career

Černý played for Jiskra Králiky and TJ Lanškroun in his youth. In the summer of 2001 the goalkeeper moved to Sigma Olomouc , a year later he made the leap into the professional squad. As a result, Černý was only a replacement with one exception. On March 12, 2005 he made his debut in the away game with Marila Příbram in the Gambrinus League . It was his last appearance in the top Czech division for the time being.

In the summer of 2007 Černý moved on loan to the Scottish second division club Hamilton Academical , with whom he was promoted to the Scottish Premier League . In the 2008/09 season Černý was the goalkeeper of Accies . In 2009, Černý signed a two-season contract with Hamilton.

National team

Černý has so far been used in the Czech U-17 , U-18, U-19 and U-21 selection .
