Scott Wright (born August 8, 1997 in Balmedie ) is a Scottish football player who plays for Aberdeen FC .

Career

Scott Wright was born in 1997 in Balmedie, about 30 km southwest of Aberdeen. He started his career at the age of 11 in the youth team of Aberdeen FC . Wright made his debut for the professional Dons team in July 2014 in the first qualifying round of the 2014/15 UEFA Europa League against FK Daugava Riga . In the 5-0 home win at Pittodrie Stadium , Wright came on in the 78th minute for Barry Robson . He was also substituted on in the second leg in Latvia . In the two following rounds against FC Groningen and Real Sociedad San Sebastián , he was not used. Wright played his first league game on the last day of the 2014/15 season against FC St. Johnstone when he was substituted on for Mark Reynolds . In the season 2015/16 Wright came three times used.

National team

Scott Wright played eight times in the Scottish U-17s in 2014 and scored two goals. Wright has played in the U-19s since 2015 .
