Shaleum Narval Logan (born January 29, 1988 in Manchester ) is an English football player who has been under contract with FC Aberdeen since 2014 .
Career
Shaleum Logan was educated at Manchester City Youth Academy and signed a three-year contract in 2007. He made his first impressive appearance at the FA Youth Cup 2005/06 when the team lost 3-2 to Liverpool in the final .
He made his debut in the professional team in August 2007 in the 2-1 victory over Bristol City in the League Cup and the second game a month later in the second round of the League Cup against Norwich City . He then moved to Grimsby Town on a one month loan. In his first game, he also scored his first goal against Rochdale AFC . After the loan period ended, he played on another month-long loan deal, this time with Scunthorpe United . After four games, he returned to the Citizens . In February 2008, he was loaned out to Stockport County for a month , where he played seven games.
On July 27, 2009, he was awarded for the entire 2009/10 season to the Tranmere Rovers , having previously signed a new contract with Manchester City . During the break of the season, he completed trial training at Doncaster Rovers and Sheffield United .
For the 2011/12 season Logan was fired from Manchester City. He then joined Brentford FC on June 24, 2011 . After Logan made 32 league appearances in his first season for Brentford, his contract was extended in June 2012. In the 2012/13 season he played all 53 competitive games in various competitions and renewed his contract in January 2013.
On January 30, 2014 he was awarded until the end of the season to the Scottish club FC Aberdeen , where he met his former teammates Willo Flood , Niall McGinn and Nicky Weaver . After 13 league appearances and one goal, he signed a two-year contract with the Dons on May 27, 2014.
