Bruce Anderson (born September 23, 1998 in Banff ) is a Scottish football player who is under contract with FC Aberdeen .

Career

Bruce Anderson was born in 1998 in Banff , on the Scottish North Sea coast . Until December 2013, Anderson played at the Dyce Boys Club in the suburb of the same name in Aberdeen. He then played from January 2014 in the youth team of Aberdeen FC . With the U-20 team of the Dons he took in the season 2016/17 at the Challenge Cup in part and there came against Formartine United and Forfar Athletic are used. In the following season he was initially used two more times in the U-20 in the Challenge Cup. In the game against Inverness Caledonian Thistle he scored a goal. Shortly afterwards, the striker was loaned to the Scottish fourth division club Elgin City . He scored six goals in 14 games. After returning to Aberdeen, the 19-year-old made his debut for the Dons first team on August 5, 2018, the first match day of the 2018/19 Scottish Premiership against Glasgow Rangers, when he was substituted on for Sam Cosgrove . In the 93rd minute, he scored the equalizer to make it 1: 1.
