Ronald José Hernández Pimentel (born September 21, 1997 in Barinas ) is a Venezuelan football player who is under contract with FC Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership .
Career
society
Ronald Hernández began his career in the city of his birth at Zamora FC . Until 2015 he played in the various youth teams of the club. In the 2015 season he made his debut in the first team in the Primera División . In 2015 and 2016 the club became Venezuelan champions. Hernández played four times in each season. After the U-20 World Cup , he moved to Stabæk Fotball in Norway . At his new club in Europe, he became a regular player straight away. In three seasons he came to 57 league games in the Eliteserien , the top division in Norway.
In January 2020, the 22-year-old Hernández moved to Scotland for Aberdeen FC .
National team
Hernández played for the U20 national team of his homeland Venezuela from at least 2017 . In January and February 2017, he and the team took part in the South American Championship for this age group in Ecuador . Hernández's team qualified third for the World Cup in South Korea , which took place in May and June 2017. Having started as an outsider in the tournament, the team surprisingly reached the final. In this, Hernández lost with his U20 national team in Suwon with 0: 1 against England .
In October 2017 he made his debut in the senior national team against Paraguay . Two years later he took part with his national team in the Copa América 2019 , which reached the quarter-finals.
