history

The place was first mentioned in 1317 in the Würzburger Lehenbuch as "zume Dorfelin". This certificate confirms that Conrad and Hermann von Seckendorff hold the tithe from the new developments. In another document from 1348 it was confirmed that a farmstead belongs to the Bamberg bishop with all rights. 1511 the mill was the location of Konrad Rieter the hospital Herzogenaurach donated.

At the end of the 18th century there were 7 properties in Dörflas. The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Bayreuth Fraischvogteiamt Emskirchen-Hagenbüchach . The Brandenburg-Bayreuth Monastery Office Münchaurach held the village and community rulership . The individual properties were subordinate to different landlords : Münchaurach Monastery Office (3 Höflein, 1 Gut, 1 Köblersgütlein, 1 Tropfgütlein ), Herzogenaurach Hospital (1 mill).

As part of the municipal edict, Dörflas was assigned to the Münchaurach tax district formed in 1811 . It belonged to the rural community of Falkendorf, founded in 1813 . With the second community edict (1818) it was changed to the rural community Münchaurach.

On January 1, 1972, Münchaurach was incorporated into the newly formed Aurachtal community as part of the regional reform .
