The Women's Ice Hockey Club Biel was a woman Hockey -Verein from Biel / Bienne in Switzerland , who took part from 1994 to 2008 in the game mode and two championships in the performance class B won.

history

DEHCB was founded before the 1994/95 season and was promoted to performance class B immediately after the first season . A second DEHCB team was founded for the 1995/96 season. In 1997, the first team was the champion of the second division DEHC, an increase in the performance class A on. However, it turned out that the team was not yet strong enough to play at this level and was relegated to the LKB again with an eighth place. At the same time, the second team that had previously participated in performance class C had to be disbanded.

In the following years the women of the DEHC always occupied places in the middle field of the performance class B. At times the club worked together with the DHC Langenthal in order to be able to offer every player the optimal level of play.

In September 2008, the DEHC withdrew from performance class A for financial reasons after he had risen to the first division again in the previous season with the championship title in the LB and was later dissolved.
