The 2004/2005 season in performance class A was the 16th edition of the top division in Swiss women's ice hockey and also the 19th Swiss championship. EV Zug won the title for the fourth time in the club's history and for the second time in a row .

mode

The game mode introduced before the 2001/02 season with 20 game rounds and a final tournament was retained. The 4 best teams after qualifying play the two participants in the semifinals, in which the Swiss champions are then determined.

Due to an increase in the league by two teams for the next season, there was no relegation.
