The 1990/91 season in performance class A was the second edition of the top division in Swiss women's ice hockey and at the same time the fifth Swiss championship. The title was won for the third consecutive year, the women's team of the Grasshopper Club Zurich , while the HC Bergün in the performance class B descent. The team from Friborg Unterstadt withdrew after the end of the season from performance class A to the second division.
