The 2014/15 season of the Swiss Women's Hockey League A was the 26th edition of the top division in Swiss women's ice hockey and also the 29th Swiss championship. Before the season, the league system in Swiss women's ice hockey was renamed from performance class A - C to Swiss Women's Hockey League A - C.
The HC Lugano women's team won the title for the sixth time in the club's history , defending its title from the previous year.
mode
The game mode of SWHL A provides for a preliminary round ( phase 1 ) with 10 games per team and a master round with a further 10 games per team, taking half of the points from the preliminary round. The teams in places 1 to 4 then play play-offs with semi-finals, finals (both in best-of-five mode ) and a game for place 3. The teams in places 5 and 6 determine in a playout round (best-of -Five) the participant in the league relegation between SWHL A and B.
