Daasdorf am Berge is a district of the rural community Grammetal in the west of the Weimarer Land district .

location

The district of Daasdorf am Berge is located at the foot of the southern roof of the Großer Ettersberge . Weimar is to the southeast and Erfurt to the west . The demarcation of the district extends to the Halle- Erfurt railway line and further on. Federal road 7 and federal motorway 4 run further south .

history

It was first mentioned on March 25, 1283.

On December 31, 2019, the Daasdorf a. Mountains together with other communities to form the rural community of Grammetal. The administrative community Grammetal , to which all municipalities belonged, was dissolved at the same time.

The village church is one of the oldest buildings in the village.

Memorials

A grave in the cemetery commemorates two named Italian slave laborers who were shot by residents in April 1945 while they were fetching potatoes from a rental to satisfy their hunger .
