Daniel "Dan" Shak (* 7. May 1959 in New York City , New York ) is an American hedge funds - Manager and poker players .

Personal

Shak worked at the Commodities Exchange (COMEX) in New York City . In 2002 he founded the hedge fund company SHK Asset Management, which invests in precious metals.

He was married to the poker player Beth Shak until 2009 . In 2012, he sued his ex-wife for damages for a shoe collection not listed as an asset in the divorce proceedings. He has been married to model Anna Shak since 2014. Shak has three daughters and has apartments in Las Vegas and Long Island .

Shak has participated in prestigious live tournaments since 2004 .

In June 2005 he was successful for the first time at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) in the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas and came into the money in three tournaments of the No Limit Hold'em variant , including a. he finished 183rd place in the main event .
