Danglfing is a small town in the Innviertel of Upper Austria and belongs to the town and municipality of Altheim in the Braunau am Inn district .
geography
The place Danglfing is located 13 kilometers east of Braunau am Inn , directly northwest of Altheim. It is located in the Inn valley at around 360 m above sea level. A. on the right bank in the valley of the Mühlheimer Ache (Ach).
The Rotte comprises about a dozen buildings that stretch between Sankt Ulrich (racecourse) and the municipal boundary near Stötting ( Mühlheim stop of the Innviertelbahn ).
Danglfing is along the L1099 Mühlheimer Straße , which is crossed here by the B148 Altheimer Straße as a bypass from Altheim.

history
The place is documented around 1150 as Dancholfingen , when a “ Leucardus villica de Tancholvingen ” ('Leukard, Bürger / Dörfler from Danglfing') appears. The name is an alter -ing place name with a personal name Dankolf .
Here was a noble seat and Sedelhof . In 1437 there is a Bernhard Seiberstorffer zu Dangolfing (Lords of Seibersdorf / Kirchdorf ), he was Duke Heinrich's chamber master , and then provost of Obernberg . In 1479 an Adam Seiberstorffer zu Dancholfing is known.
The seat itself could not be located.
