David Kadel

David Kadel (* 1967 in Kirchheim unter Teck ) is a television presenter, cabaret artist, author and consultant (coach).

Life

David Kadel has Iranian roots through his parents. He studied English and religion for four semesters in Giessen , but then decided to work as a cabaret artist and - after a television traineeship  - as a freelance in the media sector. He presented his first own cabaret program in 1988. A little later he began to develop broadcasting concepts for television and radio. He presented his first own shows on NBC SuperChannel and N24 .

Kadel is not only an avowed Christian, but also a big fan of the Danish national soccer team and Mainz 05. He produced several documentary films on his own that accompany professional soccer players. He also expressed his passion in several books, which also deal specifically with the beliefs of the players and illustrate its relevance for everyday life. His book FußballGott: Experience reports from the sacred lawn with a foreword by Jürgen Klopp (and in the previous edition by Rudi Völler ) became a bestseller and was reprinted several times. In the meantime there is also a film, a 99-minute road movie , in the course of which David Kadel aka "Toni Balloni" bought his own dream team of professional footballers: Football God - The Gate to Heaven , a mix of football documentary and comedy.

For his books Mit Gott auf Schalke and Die Schalke-Bibel he was awarded the Golden Compass in 2008 (together with Marcelo Bordon , Kevin Kurányi , Rafinha and manager Andreas Müller ) . In 1999 he produced the CD The Laughter of the Children for the benefit of Brazilian street children with Giovane Élber , Paulo Sérgio and Ratinho .

From October 2002 to August 2007 he moderated the weekly talk show N24 Ethik on N24 , alternating with Capuchin Br.
