Denis "seized" Valeryevich Kostin ( Russian Денис Валерьевич Костин , nickname "seized"; born September 9, 1994 in Moscow , Russian Federation ) is a Russian Counter-Strike: Global Offensive - and former Counter-Strike 1.6 player. Kostin is currently under contract with the Ukrainian organization Natus Vincere .
He was also able to draw attention to himself several times as a coach of successful teams.
Career and teams
Gründip Gaming (July - August 2013)
In the summer of 2013, many well-known Russian players formed the team from Gründip Gaming. However, this promising team only existed for a short time, as all players got good offers from teams like dAT Team or Natus Vincere .

ex- Natus Vincere (August - December 2013)
After both Ioann "Edward" Sukharyev and Yegor "markeloff" Markelow Na'Vi had left to switch to the Astana Dragons , the organization found two new players in Denis "seized" Kostin and Anton "kibaken" Kolesnikow. Since then, Kostin has been playing for Natus Vincere . The Na'Vi lineup then looked like this.

ex- Natus Vincere (December 2013 - March 2015)
In early December 2013 has Na'Vi Anton "kibaken" Kolesnikov due to poor performance, and Arseny "ceh9" Trynoschenko , who had retired from professional gaming, removed from their team and Ladislav "Guardian" Kovács and Ionann "Edward" Sucharjew to added to their active lineup. During this time Kostin helped the team to achieve their first successes. In the finals of the ninth edition of the SLTV StarSeries , Natus Vincere won against the ninjas in pajamas . At DreamHack Winter 2014 , seized and its team reached the semi-finals. Only then was Na'Vi eliminated with two 11:16 defeats against Team LDLC .

Natus Vincere (since March 2015)
Due to unsatisfactory performance, Serhij "starix" Ischuk switched from the position of player to the role of coach. On April 10, 2015 it was announced that Yegor "flamie" Vasiljew starix replaced as a player at Natus Vincere . The current lineup Na'Vis looks like this:

The new team won the ESL Pro League Winter 2014/15 in Cologne in April 2015 . In the summer of 2015, the Russian and his team took first place at the Electronic Sports World Cup in Montreal . At this event, Kostin achieved a K / D value of 1.26 across all games. In November his team was able to win the 10th edition of the ESL Intel Extreme Masters tournament in San José in addition to the second places at DreamHack Cluj-Napoca 2015 and the offline finals of the ESL ESEA Pro League Season 2 . In 2016, Kostin had further successes by winning his team at DreamHack Leipzig 2016 and reaching the finals at MLG Columbus 2016 . Since August 2016 Kostin has been playing with Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliw , who replaces Danylo "Zeus" Teslenko .
