Dickershausen is a district of Homberg in the north Hessian Schwalm-Eder district .
geography
The village is located about 5 km northeast of the Homberg core town on the northern foothills of the Knüllgebirge . The Schwalm tributary Rhünda rises in the village .
history
Dickershausen was first mentioned in a document in 1108, when Reginhart de Diggershusen was mentioned. Around 1490 there were seven defensive men and three plows in the village .

On February 1, 1971, Dickershausen was incorporated as part of the regional reform in Hesse as a district of the city of Homberg, Kassel district, today Homberg (Efze) .
