Allmuthshausen Church

Allmuthshausen is a district of Homberg (Efze) in the north Hessian Schwalm-Eder district . The smallest Homberg village Rückersfeld also belongs to the district .

Geographical location

Allmuthshausen is located in the northern foothills of the Knüllgebirge about 6.5 km south-southeast of the Homberg core town. The Rinnebach and Landesstraße  3384 run through the village. North of the village rises the Streuflingskopf with the Knüll Wildlife Park and the observation tower on the mountain in the park. The evangelical village church is a building that defines the townscape .

history

The place was first mentioned in a document in 1061.

On September 1, 1968, the communities Allmuthshausen and Rückersfeld merged to form the new community Allmuthshausen, which was incorporated into the town of Homberg on December 31, 1971 .
