Die Hit-Gianten was a ranking show that was broadcast by the TV station Sat.1 from 2003 to 2010 . It was considered a response from Sat.1 on RTL telecast The Ultimate Chart Show . Moderated by Hugo Egon Balder , the program presented hits from the 1960s to the 2000s.
Broadcast & broadcast
Each program had a separate motto, for example Disco Hits , New German Wave , Pop & Wave from the 80s , rock ballads , summer hits , football songs , Italian hits , cuddle songs . Some of the placed musicians sang their hit again in the show or presented a new recording or a sampler .
After RTL broadcast its ultimate chart show for the first time weekly on Friday at 9:15 pm at the beginning of 2007 and thus achieved consistently good ratings, Sat.1 repeated the best episodes of the hit giants from Friday, July 6, 2007 on the same broadcast slot . The repetitions that follow the game show Every child knows that! ran, achieved such good ratings that the originally discontinued show was continued from May 2008.
Since October 10, 2008, the music show has been broadcast in 16: 9 widescreen format .
In July 2010 it was announced that the format will no longer be moderated by Hugo Egon Balder, but by Roger Cicero and Mirjam Weichselbraun . In September 2010, six new episodes were recorded in Cologne with the new moderators, which should be shown on Sat.1 from November 26, 2010. After three broadcasts, the broadcast was canceled.
In the meantime, various mottos that appeared on double CD at the time have been expanded and republished in a best-of box with three CDs.
