The Kota Belud District is an administrative district in the Malaysian state of Sabah . The administrative seat is the city of Kota Belud . The Kota Belud District is part of the West Coast Division area which includes the districts of Kota Kinabalu , Ranau , Kota Belud, Tuaran , Penampang , Putatan and Papar .

Demographics

The population of the district of Kota Belud is 91,272 people according to the last census in 2010 and consists of roughly equal parts of Kadazan-Dusun and Bajau and a smaller proportion of Chinese . As in many other cities in Sabah, there are significant numbers of illegal immigrants from the nearby Philippines , especially from Sulu and Mindanao , who are not recorded in the population statistics.

Administrative headquarters

The administrative seat of the district is the city of Kota Belud .

Structure of the district

The district is divided into three sub-districts or regions (kawasan) : Tempasuk, Kadamaian and Usukan. Six to eight municipal administrations (mukim) are assigned to these :

Kawasan TEMPASUK
- MUKIM RAMPAYAN with the kampung Rampayan Ulu, Rampayan Laut, Luadi, Tapukan Baru, Nanamun, Tamau, Kota Bungan II, Kayu Putih and Pintasan
- MUKIM KAGURAAN with the kampung Kaguraan, Kesapang, Bubuk, Siudon, Kawang-Kawang, Penampang, Timbang, Pandasan, Tambilaung and Bungaliu
- MUKIM DUDAR with the kampung Dudar Laut, Sarang, Dudar Ulu, Kamalaan, Timbang Menggaris, Ulu Kukut, Mantanau, Taburan Damang, Taburan Tambulawan and Manau / Mandawang
- MUKIM TAUN GUSI with the kampung Taun Gusi I, Taun Gusi Padang, Sangkir, Taun Gusi 2, Batu 4, Kota Keranjangan and Jawi-Jawi
- MUKIM TEMPASUK with the kampung Tempasuk I, Linau, Ejuk, Tempasuk 2 Baru, Kota Bungan, Lilud, Tempasuk I, Rinig, Kota Peladok, Gunding, Botung, Merabau, Rudang, Wokok / Kinuta and Tawadakan
- MUKIM ROSOK with the kampung Rantai, Ginapas, Bangkahak Lama, Bangkahak Sumsum, Penempatan Wariu, Kalibungan, Bambangan, Guong, Gontuong, Bugaron and Bangkahak Baru

- MUKIM WORIOU with the kampung Lahanas, Tegudon, Piasau, Nahaba, Gandukut, Terintidon, Tambulion Laut, Sayap, Tengkurus, Talungan and Tambulion Ulu
- MUKIM TAGINAMBUR with the kampung Taginambur Batu 10, Taginambur Jaya, Puhus, Tambulaung, Bayayat, Ratau, Pinasang Tamu Darat, Rajunah, Tuguson, Pinasang, Moroulu, Bahab, Bokilong, Lasau Tintapon and Rangalau
- KEBAYAU with the kampung Lingkubang, Kebayau, Melangkap Kapa, Bundu Paka, Tambatuon, Purak Ogis, Narinang, Melangkap Baru, Melangkap Tomis, Melangkap Tiong and Melangkap Nariau
- MUKIM MANGKULAT with the kampung Gansurai, Tinata, Gaur, Mangkulat, Podos, Pinalabuh, Tudan, Koung Malaan and Bukid
- LASAU with the kampung Lasau Minunsud, Lasau Lama, Lampios, Podi, Takulung, Piak, Wani, Gonok and Kebidahan
- MUKIM KINASARABAN with the kampung Kinasaraban, Mandap, Lentigi, Paka-Paka, Bongol and Tintapon
- MUKIM KELAWAT with the kampung Kelawat, Pompod, Pahu, Sumbilingon, Minangkob, Pangi, Tabur, Talus and Sukang
- MUKIM KADAMAIAN with kampung Kiau, Kiau Nulu, Kiau Bersatu, Lobong-Lobong, Koung and Kiau Taburi

- MUKIM AMBONG with the kampung Ambong, Pituru Darat, Lingkodon, Pengkalan Abai, Lebak Moyoh, Song-Song, Peturu Laut, Lebak Moyoh and Kumpang
- MUKIM KULAMBAI with the kampung Kuala Abai, Suang Punggor, Tanjung Batu, Buah Pandai, Kulambai Dundau, Kulambai, Kulambai Kupang, Pulau Mantanani, Bira-Biraan and Suang Kina
- MUKIM SEMBIRAI with the kampung Payas-Payas, Sembirai, Sadok-Sadok, Lebak Engad, Sembirai, Tg.Pasir and Timbang Dayang
- MUKIM KEDATUAN with the kampung Bala Liang, Peladok and Pantai Emas II
- MUKIM PIRASAN with the kampung Tombol, Baru, Pirasan Lama, Pekan Kota Belud, Siasai Jaya, Siasai Dundau, Siasai Kumpang, Siasai and Pirasan Ulu (Malaga)
- BANDAR KOTA BELUD district with the kampung Menunggui, Labuan, Tanjung Wakap, Bobot, Kota Belud, Wakap, Labuan and Tanjung Wakap
