Dojnica ( Albanian also Dojnicë , Serbian Дојнице Dojnice ) is a desert (abandoned town) in southwest Kosovo , which belongs to the municipality of Prizren .
geography
Dojnica is located on the western slopes of Koxha Ballkan ( 2043 m. I. J. , west of Ošljak ) in southwest Kosovo about five kilometers east of Prizren as the crow flies. Neighboring villages are west of Gërnçar , south of Vërbiçan and north of Skorrobishta .
history
After the conquest of Kosovo by the Kingdom of Serbia during the First Balkan War in 1912, the Serbian government set up a military administration on site, with Dojnica becoming part of the newly created municipality of Ljubižda (now Lubizhda ).

In 2011 Dojnica had no more residents. The census of 1991 had shown even a population of 90 people.
