Lubizhda e Hasit ( Albanian  also  Lubizhdë e Hasit , Serbian Љубижда Хас Ljubižda Has ) is a village in the Kosovar municipality of Prizren .

geography

Lubizhda e Hasit is located in a kind of valley basin , which only opens in the north, where the villages Kabash i Hasit and Dedaj adjoin, and to the east, Karashëngjergj is elevated . In the south and west, the Has highlands rise relatively steeply to Mount Pashtrik , the summit of which is around six kilometers from Lubizhda e Hasit.

history

After the conquest of Kosovo by the Kingdom of Serbia during the First Balkan War in 1912, the Serbian government set up a local military administration . A separate community Ljubižda Has was created, which also included the villages of Dedaj, Kabash i Hasit, Kushnin and Romaja . The community belonged to the Srez Has of the superior Okrug Prizren . This administrative division existed until January 6, 1929, when the area became part of the newly created Vardarska banovina within the Kingdom of Yugoslavia .

The 2011 census found 2719 inhabitants in Lubizhda e Hasit, all of whom (100%) described themselves as Albanians .
