Velezha ( Albanian also Velezhë , Serbian Вележа Veleža ) is a village in the municipality of Prizren in Kosovo .
geography
Velezha is about five kilometers north of the city of Prizren . The Autostrada R 7 is not far from the village . Neighboring villages are north Smaç and Novaka , east Shpenadia , southwest Trepetnica and west Sërbica e Epërme .
history
After the conquest of Kosovo by the Kingdom of Serbia during the First Balkan War in 1912, the Serbian government set up a military administration on site, with Velezha becoming part of the newly created community of Novak (now Novaka ).
