Dolina (German Hermsdorf ) is a village in the powiat Kłodzki in southwest Poland. It belongs to the municipality of Szczytna ( Rückers ).

geography

The village is three kilometers west of Szczytna on a secondary road that runs parallel to European route 67 . Neighboring towns are Złotno in the north, Szczytna and Bystra in the east, Duszniki-Zdrój in the southwest and Słoszów in the west. To the north lies the Heuscheuergebirge .

history

Hermsdorf was first mentioned in 1387 and was then referred to as Hermannsdorf or in Czech as Heřmankow . It was parish to the parish church of St. Peter and Paul in Reinerz and belonged to the rule Hummel , with which it was incorporated into the county of Glatz in 1477 . Together with the rule of Hummel, it fell to the Bohemian sovereign as a settled fief in 1561 , with whom it remained even after the rule was dissolved in 1595. In 1684 the Bohemian Chamber sold it to the town of Reinerz.

After the Silesian Wars , Hermsdorf came to Prussia together with the County of Glatz in 1763 with the Peace of Hubertusburg . Evidence for the beginning of the 19th century: a free judge , two service farmers and four gardeners and cottagers .

After the reorganization of Prussia, Hermsdorf belonged to the province of Silesia since 1815 and was incorporated into the district of Glatz from 1816–1945 . In 1908 it formed its own rural community and belonged to the Friedersdorf district . As a result of the Second World War , like almost all of Silesia, it fell to Poland in 1945 and was renamed Dolina . The German population was expelled. Some of the new residents were displaced from eastern Poland . 1975-1998 Dolina belonged to the Wałbrzych Voivodeship ( Waldenburg ).
